DreamBird Sleep Consulting offers education, guidance, and parent coaching to promote healthy sleep habits in infants and toddlers. Services are rooted in evidence-based sleep principles and focus on helping families understand sleep development, create age-appropriate routines, and implement gentle, responsive strategies that fit their child’s unique needs and family values.
Sleep consulting is educational and coaching-based in nature and does not involve medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment. All services are delivered virtually through personalized sleep plans, parent coaching, and ongoing support.
About Dr. Marissa Barash

Hi, I’m Dr. Marissa Barash. I’m a psychologist with a doctorate in psychology and a master’s degree in psychopharmacology, a certified infant and toddler sleep consultant, and most importantly, a mom of two. I know firsthand how challenging sleep can be for little ones—and how exhausting it can be for parents.
I created DreamBird because I wanted my own children to grow up with strong, nurturing routines that support their physical and emotional health—and I wanted to help other families do the same. Sleep is far more than just rest; it impacts a child’s mood, behavior, learning, and overall development. Healthy, consistent sleep routines are one of the most powerful ways to support your child’s well-being and make life easier for the whole family.
Through gentle guidance, personalized sleep plans, and evidence-based strategies, I help babies and toddlers—and their parents—sleep better, feel more rested, and thrive. I’m confident in my ability to support families in creating calm, consistent bedtime routines and sleep habits that reduce stress and improve everyone’s quality of life.
